Harris County’s Hart Computer Voting System Is Easily Rigged

In 2007, the State of Ohio commissioned the EVEREST study to analyze the usability, stability, and security of all voting systems used in Ohio elections. The following paper details the approach and results of the security analysis of the Premier and Hart systems within the Project EVEREST study.
The results of the Project EVEREST study were significant. In less than nine weeks of study, the cybersecurity team discovered the Hart computer system to be critically flawed. There were 27 issues in the Hart system by which it could be easily compromised.
Harris County uses the Hart Computer Voting System. It can be easily hacked and manipulated by a known criminal element in local politics who are planning to steal the upcoming 2022 mid-term elections. Because the Hart System’s election results are not verifiable and because its system can be easily compromised, it violates both Texas and Federal laws on election security.
Whoever controls the computers controls the (s)election.
Why haven’t the Republicans in high level offices in Texas and in Congress worked to eliminate computer voting? U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, Republican leader in the Senate, has not supported election reform bills.
Keith Ingram, Head of the Election Division for the Texas Secretary of State, Republican John Scott, has opposed and stonewalled any outside forensic evaluation of the various computer voting systems used in Texas counties. What does Ingram know that he wants to hide from cybersecurity experts?

The Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002 mandated the widespread use of electronic voting machines across the United States. As a result, the technology supporting elections nationwide changed nearly overnight. However, concerns about the security and integrity of elections conducted using available products arose nearly as quickly. As an increasing body of independent reports painted a bleak portrait of such systems, a number of state and federal officials began sanctioning official evaluations. Responding to declining public confidence in electronic voting machine technology the state of Ohio initiated an investigation of the risks associated with systems used across the state. Project EVEREST (Evaluation and Validation of Election Related Equipment, Standards and Testing) [1] brought together teams from academia and industry to develop a comprehensive understanding of the vulnerabilities and risks in the three systems used in Ohio: Premier Elections Solutions (formerly Diebold), Hart InterCivic, and Election Systems and Software (ES&S).

The original intent of mail-in ballots was to accommodate military, their families, legally registered voters who might, for legitimate reasons (assisted living, scheduled surgery, long haul truckers) be unable to get to a polling place on election day. Rally Against ‘Child Mutilation’ Draws Thousands of Supporters in Nashville, 10/22/22
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Some 2,000 people turned out for the “Rally to End Child Mutilation” held in downtown Nashville Friday as a host of conservative speakers vowed to make gender transition for children illegal.
The mainly conservative crowd gathered at the War Memorial Plaza near the state capital in support of stopping surgery and chemical castration of minors.
A group of protesters favoring transgender “rights” for children tried to shout down the speakers by chanting, screaming profanities, and using sirens.

According to a newly released poll by SurveyUSA, a top-rated pollster, 66% of likely Texas voters want Texas to withdraw from the union and “become an independent country.”
The bombshell poll was conducted in eight states, including Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina, Florida, New Hampshire, and Hawaii. Support for exiting the union polled highest in Texas, with regular voters showing 66% support and voters who vote only in presidential elections showing 63%.
