Harris County DA, Sean Teare, Dismisses Dr. Hotze’s Criminal Case

Houston, Texas – On May 20, 2025, the Harris County District Attorney’s office, under the leadership of Sean Teare, dismissed Dr. Hotze’s criminal case which has been ongoing for the last four years.  The dismissal was signed by Judge Emily Munoz Detoto. For over four years former Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg waged lawfare against Dr. Hotze to prevent him from stopping vote fraud in Harris County.

Jared Woodfill, Dr. Hotze’s attorney, stated, “For four long years, Dr. Hotze has been fighting Kim Ogg’s politically motivated prosecution against him, because of his efforts to stop vote fraud in Harris County. She weaponized her office in an effort to take out a political opponent, Dr. Hotze.  Her lawfare against Dr. Hotze was a violation of the trust voters had placed in her. Dr. Hotze is thankful to DA Sean Teare for recognizing Ogg’s abuse of her office and rightfully dismissing the case against him.”

Dr. Hotze also stated the following, “I commend the Harris County DA Sean Teare for dismissing my criminal case, ensuring that justice was done. For four years I have experienced lawfare from former DA Kim Ogg for my efforts to expose vote fraud in Harris County. I thank God that I have been vindicated.”

Dr. Hotze pledged to continue his efforts to fight vote fraud in Harris County. On October 22, 2024, Dr. Hotze filed a lawsuit, Hotze v. Bennett, against former Harris County Tax Assessor Collector, Ann Bennett, who served as the voter registrar, requiring her to eliminate over 400,000 illegal names on the voter file of individuals who live outside of Harris County and out of state. The Texas Election Code requires the Tax Assessor Collector in every county to update the list and remove any illegal names on a monthly basis. Since the Democrats took over the Harris Tax Assessor Collector office in 2016, they have not updated the voter registration file. This is one of the ways that the Democrats have been able to steal elections and turn Harris County into a blue county, by casting illegal votes.  Over 205,000 illegal votes were cast in the 2024 General Elections in Harris County by individuals who lived out of the county or out of state.

Kim Ogg benefited from vote fraud by illegally hiring vote harvesters in her campaigns. When Dr. Hotze’s election integrity team brought incidences of vote fraud in Harris County to Kim Ogg, her office refused to investigate them. Ogg also refused to have Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton investigate vote fraud in Harris County.

The District Attorney’s office under former DA Kim Ogg’s leadership has intentionally been dragging out Dr. Hotze’s criminal case for over four years, since April 20, 2022, in order to harass him and cost him enormous resources, in the same way Trump has been harassed.

The goal of Kim Ogg’s lawfare was to intimidate Dr. Hotze and bleed him financially. Those who know Dr. Hotze know that he is a Christian warrior who never backs down.

Dr. Hotze has taken the offensive and sued former Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg for Official Oppression, 42 U.S.C. Section 1983, on December 31, 2024. This is a federal statute that allows individuals to sue government officials for violation of their Constitutional rights.

Justice has now been served with the outrageous criminal charges against Dr. Hotze being dismissed. Justice will be further served when Kim Ogg is found guilty of Prosecutorial Misconduct and Official Oppression.

Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR): A Front Group for Corporate Interests

Editorial by Steven Hotze, M.D., Publisher, CRTX News

TLR, co-founded by Houston businessman Dick Weekley, is not a grassroots movement, but a front group for corporate interests. Weekley’s TLR PAC, funded by wealthy businessmen, including insurance companies and corporations, raised and spent over $20 million in the 2024 elections, supporting Republican candidates and legislators, so that they would introduce bills like Senate Bill 30 (SB30) and Senate Bill 39
(SB39) to protect corporate profits over legitimate injury claims of Texans. The Republicans, whom TLR supported that were elected, received over $12.5 million in donations. See below for a list of these Republicans. Is your State Representative or State Senator on the list of those who the TLR tried to buy off? Not all of them support TLR’s legislation, the TLR simply tries to buy their support. Some of these legislators support your constitutional rights, but they need to hear from you. Call them to encourage them to vote “No!” on SB30 and
SB39 and stop TRL’s power play!

You can click here to find your legislator at: https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home

TLR’s agenda prioritizes shielding negligent corporations, like reckless trucking firms or polluters, from having to compensate for injuries inflicted upon Texans. TLR should be renamed “Texans for Corporate Greed and Immunity,” because it consistently protects corporate interests by undermining the constitutional rights of those harmed by corporate misconduct.

Soros’ District Attorneys in Texas Seek to Overturn Court of Criminal Appeals Decision

by Steven F. Hotze, M.D.

We must protect conservative candidates from experiencing lawfare from Soros supported Democrat District Attorneys. The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals issued a ruling Ex Parte Charette, on September 11, 2024, which prevented George Soros funded Democrat District Attorneys (DA) from bypassing the Texas Ethics Commission prior to moving forward with criminal prosecutions under the Texas Election Code. The Charette case prevents these rogue prosecutors from filing criminal charges for campaign violations without a referral from the Texas Ethics Commission (TEC).

Democrat District Attorneys who have been funded by George Soros are involved in lawfare against their political opponents in the same way that former Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg engaged in lawfare against me. These Soros District Attorneys haveweaponized their offices in an effort to intimidate and indict their political opponents over TEC infractions. They are doing this to influence elections and capture headlines.

Here’s how it works. In an effort to defeat conservativecandidates, a Soros backed Democrat DA will bypass the TEC and use the indictment to capture the headlines, which would read like this, “Conservative Candidate Indicted for Campaign Violations!”

James Comey’s “86 47” Seashells: A Jab at Trump or Something More Sinister?

by Steven Hotze, M.D., Publisher, CRTX News

Picture this. James Comey, former FBI Director, is strolling along a beach and snaps a photo of seashells that spell “86 47.” He posts it on Instagram with a caption that reads: “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.” An innocent post? Highly unlikely. “86” means “kill” in mafia slang. “47” points to President Donald Trump, 47th president. The post explodes on social media. Trump’s supporters cry foul. The Secret Service picks up Comey and interrogates him. Was this just a quirky meme or a calculated signal to Trump-hating liberal zealots to assassinate Trump?

Comey knows the lingo. He prosecuted Gambino mobsters. He led the FBI from 2013 to 2017. He knows about the use of the term “86” in backrooms. It means “eliminate” or “get rid of”permanently. Pairing it with “47” was not random. Trump fired Comey in 2017 and he slammed Trump in books and interviews. Comey claims that he “didn’t realize” that “86 47” could sound violent. Really? Comey deleted the post May 15, 2025. He said, “I didn’t realize some folks associate those numbers with violence. I oppose violence.” Sure, Jim.

The Secret Service doubted the beachcomber alibi. They interviewed Comey on May 16, 2025. They probed if “86 47” was a threat. Trump responded with righteous indignation on Fox News: “He (Comey) knew exactly what that meant. Assassination. Loud and clear.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blasted on X: “Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey called for assassination of President Trump.” X users demanded accountability. Legal experts cautioned that proving that this was a “true threat” requires clear intent. Comey’s vague seashell meme might escape prosecution.

Defenders cite “86” as restaurant lingo, meaning “toss out,” but Comey is not a chef. He’s a legal shark.
