There are 29 days left in the 2017 Texas Legislative Session. The chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, Tom Mechler, has been deathly silent.

Mechler has not publicly supported SB 6, The Women’s Privacy Act, “No Men in Women’s Bathrooms!”

He has done nothing to rally Republican voters to support Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick’s conservative agenda to protect women’s and girls’ privacy and safety, for school choice, property tax relief and opposition to sanctuary cities.

Mechler has been a strong supporter of liberal pro-abortion and pro-homosexual Speaker Joe Straus and his puppeteer Rep. Byron Cook, who are blocking Lt. Gov. Patrick’s conservative agenda.

Now, suddenly, Mechler is calling for a Faith, Family and Freedom Rally on Monday, May 8th in Austin, with just 23 days left in the session. Really, Tom? Where the Sam Hill have you been all session while we have been in a knock down drag out fight to pass SB 6? Tom, you have proven yourself about as worthless as a tick on a dog after a three-day suck.

Throw Mechler in with the other spineless Republican state representatives who will not support SB 6 to protect women’s and girls’ privacy and safety.

How pathetic!
