The Old and New Testament scriptures makes it clear that the purpose of civil government is to punish those who practice wickedness and protect the life and property of those who lead honorable lives.

“A king who sits on the throne of justice disperses all evil with his eyes.”
(Proverbs 20:8)

“For rulers are not a cause of fear for good, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good and you will have praise from the same; for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath on the one who practices evil.” (Romans 13:3-4)

The Lord God of Hosts, who created the heavens and earth, and all that exists, is greatly to be feared. God established laws which govern the universe and all those who live within it. There are physical laws, like the law of gravity, and there are moral laws which govern the way that we are to conduct our lives. These rules of conduct are revealed clearly in the Bible. All you have to do is read the Bible to find out the rules of the game of life that God has laid down for us.

God’s laws and standards have been given to us for our benefit, so that we might prosper in every area of our lives.

“This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate upon it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

God sovereignly rules over all the nations and all rulers must uphold His laws.

“For the Lord Most High is to be feared, a great King over all the earth. God reigns over the nations. God sits on His holy throne. He is highly exalted.”
(Psalm 47:2, 7-9)

God loves righteousness and hates wickedness.

“Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever. A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Thy Kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness and hated lawlessness.”
(Psalm 45:6)

Law is the system of rules which govern the conduct of individuals in a society which may be enforced by penalties. Morality is a code of conduct adopted by an individual or a society. All law, by definition, legislates morality. All laws impose a code of conduct upon the members of society. I am not going to tell you that only a fool would say that you cannot regulate morality. You can decide that for yourself. That is the whole purpose of law.

The real question is this. Whose law, whose code of conduct, will society adopt? Whose law will the civil authorities enforce?  The choice is simple. You can have a civil government which submits itself to God’s laws, which are permanently fixed and based upon His righteous nature, or a civil government that adopt man’s laws, which are based upon the sinful nature of man. Man’s law consolidates itself in the state and is based upon the views of the people who hold the power in society.

Our society has rejected God’s standards and rules, His code of conduct. This is clearly demonstrated by the mass killing of unborn babies, the open acceptance and promotion of the practice of sodomy, pornography, sexual immorality, anarchism and communism. Those who adhere to the doctrine that Jesus Christ is the Lord and the King of Kings, and that we must submit ourselves to His rule, are held in contempt by the evil, wicked and corrupt atheistic, communist Antifa left in America. They control the media and they are committed to destroying Christianity and Biblical morality in America.

“He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.” (Proverbs 17:15)

“Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together
against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart
and cast away their cords from us!” He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them.  Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain. I will surely tell of the decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, and the very ends of the earth as Your possession. You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall shatter them like earthenware.’”

Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth.
Worship the Lord with reverence and rejoice with trembling.
Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way,
For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!”

(Psalm 2)

God offers our nation a solution to the wave of evil that has invaded America. It starts with you and with me.

“If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Our civil magistrates and rulers have a responsibility to punish those who are wicked according to God’s laws and standards and to protect those who keep God’s laws. If a ruler fails to do this, then he must no longer be honored or respected, rather he needs to be removed from office. If a civil magistrate or ruler uses his authority to promote the wicked and to punish those who obey God’s commands, then he is anathema and must be opposed by other civil rulers and by the people who elect our civil elected officials.

This is not rocket science.

What we need is Christian men who are bold and courageous, who are willing to engage in the battle to restore our nation’s Christian heritage. The only way to do this is to know, memorize and use the Word of God as your offensive weapon that will tear down the high places of worldly wisdom.

“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)

All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing!

Christians, it is time for you to rise up and fight for your faith!
