SB 14, Banning Trans Procedures on Children, Schedule for Vote in Texas House

SB 14 is scheduled to be voted upon by the Texas House on Friday, May 12th.

SB 14 bans trans sex treatment and sex mutilation surgery on children, and revokes the medical license of any doctor who participates in this activity.

The vote on SB 14 was postponed twice last week on points of order by Democrats. If Speaker Phelan’s puppeteers had wanted it to pass, then it would have passed last Tuesday or Friday.

There is no excuse for Speaker Phelan and the Republican controlled Texas House not to pass Senate Bill (SB) 14 this Friday. The Republicans have a huge majority, 86 – 64, over the Democrats.

Call Speaker Phelan’s office at (512) 464-1000 and tell him that you expect him to let the Texas House vote on SB 14.

This is not my first rodeo. I have been working to pass conservative legislation in the Texas Legislature since 1977. On numerous occasions I have watched the RINO leadership deceptively kill conservative bills.

Doesn’t any Republican state representative know parliamentary rules and procedures?

SB 14 would have passed last Tuesday or Friday had Speaker Phelan either overruled the point of order, or ruled in favor of it. A Republican legislator could have already had 10 conservative colleagues sign a challenge to be used against any point of order. Then the full House would have voted on sustaining or overriding the point of order. This is how you can find out who really wants to pass SB 14.

It seems that there is an inside job going on to delay the passage of SB 14. It appears that a deal has been cut with the Demoncrats.
The delay of SB 14, and the House leadership’s refusal to bring up, for a vote, other strong, conservative legislation, already passed by the Texas Senate, appears to be intentional.

SB 12, banning Drag Queen performances in front of minors, is waiting in the wings for Chairman Todd Hunter to pass it out of the House State Affairs Committee. If the House Republican leaders had the political will, then both SB 14 and SB 12 would have already been passed. There are 86 Republicans and 64 Demoncrats in the Texas House.

The Demoncrats are the party of perverts and pedophiles. They want to be able to groom children to be recruited into their perverted lifestyle. This is evil, despicable and wicked.

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” (Isaiah 5:20)

If the tables were turned, then the Demoncrats would run over the Republicans with a bulldozer.

Speaker Phelan has received hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions from Political Action Committees (PACs) associated with trans sex medical groups over the past 4 years. Just follow the money trail to understand why SB 14 and
SB 12 are floundering.

This is a repeat of what happened during the 2021 legislative session, when Phelan killed SB 1311 that would have revoked the medical license of any physician who prescribed hormone therapy, puberty suppression treatment, or transition-related surgeries for the purpose of gender transitioning minors.

“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
(Matthew 18:6)

Republican legislators, have a responsibility to protect children. By passing SB 14 and SB 12 you will have made great strides in fulfilling your duty.

Call Speaker Dade Phelan’s office and leave a message that you want him to bring up SB 14 and SB 12 for a vote in the Texas House this week.
