My sweetheart and dearest Janie, my wife of 57 years, mother of our 8 children and grandmother of our 25 grandchildren, departed this world to be with our Lord and King, Jesus Christ at 5:30 AM, Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy caused Janie, in April 1973, to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Janie has obtained an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, having been reserved in heaven for her, and has been protected by the power of God through her faith in Jesus Christ for a salvation that has been revealed to her. In this confidence, Janie greatly rejoiced, even though for a 18 months she was distressed by her physical illnesses and trials, so that the proof of her faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, was found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ in glory.
Janie loved Jesus Christ and now sees Him face to face, and greatly rejoices with joy inexpressible and full of glory. As an outcome of her faith she is experiencing the reality of eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ, our son David and all the saints in glory.
Janie has passed from the land of the dying to the land of the living to be with Christ in glory for eternity.
