Dr. Steven Hotze’s Testimony on
Banning State Funding for Transgender Treatment on Children

My name is Dr. Steven Hotze from Houston, Texas, CEO of the Hotze Health & Wellness Center, CEO of Conservative Republicans of Texas, and Publisher of CRTX News.
I am here to encourage you to adopt a rider amendment to the Texas Senate Finance Committee report on the Health and Human Service (HHS) Agency that would protect children from abuse by the transgender medical industry. The provision would withhold all state funding from any agency, public school, university, medical institution, corporation, or individual that is involved in promoting the perverted transgender movement and in prescribing sex change drugs and sex mutilation surgery for children.
Attorney General Paxton issued an opinion last year that this constituted child abuse. On February 22, 2022 Governor Abbott wrote a letter to Family Protective Services in which he agreed with General Paxton’s ruling.
God created two genders, two sexes, male and female. This is a biological fact. The idea that a man can claim to be a woman, or a woman to be a man, is absurd and unscientific. It is a perversion of the God-given natural order. There is no reason for a child to be subjected to irreversible sex change drugs and sex mutilation surgery which could permanently deprive these children of their Constitutional right to procreate. The Texas Legislature should lead the way in protecting children from the transgender, pedophilia movement that is perverting children and grooming them to participate in their immoral lifestyles.
The 2021 Legislature funded the Texas Child Mental Health Consortium (TCMHCC) $113 million. It promotes transgenderism to children at public schools through telemedicine.
Jesus stated that, “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” (Matthew 18:6)
You have the very serious task of protecting children.
