Trump’s Statement after the Verdict in His Sham Trial

“This is the final battle. With you at my side, we will demolish the deep state. We will expel the warmongers from our government. We will drive out the globalists.”
“We will cast out the communists, Marxists, and fascists. We will throw off the sick political class that hates our country. We will route the fake news media, and we will liberate America from these villains once and for all.

At Texas GOP Convention, Republicans Call for “Spiritual Warfare”

Robert Downen, Texas Tribune

From his booth in the exhibit hall of the Texas GOP’s 2024 convention, Steve Hotze saw an army of God assembled before him.

For four decades, Hotze, an indicted election fraud conspiracy theorist, has helmed hardline anti-abortion movements and virulently homophobic campaigns against LGBTQ+ rights, comparing gay people to Nazis and helping popularize the “groomer” slur that paints them as pedophiles. Once on the fringes, Hotze said Saturday that he was pleased by the party’s growing embrace of his calls for spiritual warfare with “demonic, Satanic forces” on the left.

What happened on election night?

We did two episodes this week to cover all that occurred.

While there are a handful of losses for conservatives, we had more victories than we’ve ever had in a single election cycle.

Pope Francis calls for end to anti-gay laws and LGBTQ+ welcome from church LGBTQ+ advocates hail Pope’s rejection of sexual orientation as a crime and call to bishops to resist anti-gay laws as a ‘milestone’

Pope Francis has criticized laws that criminalize homosexuality as “unjust”, saying God loves all his children just as they are, and calling on Catholic bishops who support the laws to welcome LGBTQ+ people into the church.

“Being homosexual isn’t a crime,” Francis said on Tuesday in an interview.

Francis acknowledged that Catholic bishops in some parts of the world support laws that criminalize homosexuality or discriminate against LGBTQ+ people, and he himself referred to the issue in terms of “sin”. But he attributed such attitudes to cultural backgrounds and said bishops in particular need to undergo a process of change to recognise the dignity of everyone.

Archbishop Viganò: Bergoglio’s (Pope Francis) ‘Blessings’ for Homosexual Couples Show He is a ‘Servant of Satan’

When the devil tries to persuade us to sin, he emphasizes the supposed good of the evil action he wants us to do, while overshadowing the aspects that are necessarily contrary to God’s commandments. He does not say to us: Sin and offend the Lord who died for you on the Cross because he knows that a normal person does not want evil in itself, but that he usually does evil under the appearance of good.

Pope Francis Laments Excessive ‘Faggotry’ in Catholic Seminaries

Pope Francis complained Catholic seminaries are too full of “faggotry” in a closed-door meeting with Italian bishops last week, local media report.

While the pontiff famously asked, “Who am I to judge?” in 2013 in reference to a homosexual monsignor who was trying to live a chaste lifestyle, he has been an outspoken critic of gays in the Catholic priesthood.

Jesuit Father James Martin: Church Would Be ‘Immeasurably Poorer’ Without Gay Priests. Pope Francis is a Jesuit.

The Catholic Church is full of homosexual priests.

Pro-LGBTQ+ Jesuit Father James Martin said Wednesday that he has known “hundreds” of gay priests in his life as a Jesuit, in response to comments by Pope Francis that there is too much “faggotry” in seminaries.

“In my 25 years as a priest and almost 40 as a Jesuit, I’ve known hundreds of holy, faithful, and celibate gay priests,” Father Martin wrote on X. “They’ve been my superiors, my teachers, my confessors, my mentors, my spiritual directors, and my friends.”

After Pope’s Derogatory Remark on Gay Men in Catholic Seminaries, Vatican Apologizes

The Vatican on Tuesday issued an apology after Pope Francis’ use of an offensive word in Italian regarding seminarians who identify as gay.

Matteo Bruni, the Holy See spokesman, said in Tuesday’s press statement that the Holy Father was “aware of the articles recently published about a conversation, behind closed doors, with the bishops” of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI).

Pope Francis Continues to Flip-Flop on Moral Issues of Sodomy and Sparks Controversy with Progressive, Pro-homosexual Appointments to Vatican Doctrinal Office

As June heralded the start of gay pride month, Pope Francis made a controversial decision by appointing three prelates, recognized for their progressive stance on homosexuality, to the Vatican’s doctrinal office. This move has stirred significant debate within the Church, highlighting a stark contrast between traditional Catholic doctrines and contemporary progressive perspectives.

The first appointee, Portuguese Cardinal José Tolentino de Mendonça, has previously adopted a notably lenient approach towards homosexuality. Known for his “Who am I to judge?” stance, Tolentino’s pastoral work in Lisbon has included vocal support for Maria Teresa Forcades i Vila, a former sister who advocates for queer theology. Tolentino went as far as authoring the preface to one of Forcades’ books and inviting her to speak at one of his own book launches in 2016.
