The Texas House recently left the special session without passing privacy protections for our wives, daughters, mothers, and sisters. Their failure to pass legislation that keeps biological males, including registered sex offenders, out of women’s bathrooms, leaves our families exposed to potential abuse. Additionally, the Texas House’s failure to have a statewide standard on privacy leads to inconsistent local rules like Plano compared to Houston. Many of the pro-LGBT local legislation was voted on behind closed doors-leaving taxpayers out of the decision. Some examples include Coppell ISD, Dripping Springs ISD, and Fort Worth ISD. The liberal LGBT interest groups have worked with Speaker Joe Straus and Representative Byron Cook’s to allow men in women’s bathrooms, ignoring the will of the people by refusing to allow our elected representatives in the Texas House to even vote on the issue.
CRTXNews is ready for the fight. We will not back down to Joe Straus, Byron Cook, the LGBT activists, or the liberal left. We will fight to protect the privacy of our wives, daughters, and mothers when they enter women’s restrooms.
My friends at Texas Values have created a privacy hotline. We too want to hear from you if you, your child, a loved one, or a friend have suffered as a result of the Texas House’s failure to act.
PRIVACY VIOLATION HOTLINE: CRTXNews joins Texas Values in urging parents to call 713.419.0595 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to report any school or district policy or action that violates privacy or religious liberty or similar concerns in other government buildings.
