Steven F. Hotze, M.D.
On March 15, by a vote of 21 to 10, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and the Texas Senate passed SB 6, the Women’s Privacy Act, legislation which would prevent perverted men and boys, who fantasize that they are women, including registered sex offenders, from entering women’s and girls’ public and school bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms.
For months, the Speaker, Joe Straus, has not allowed the Texas House to protect the privacy and safety of women and girls. The national spotlight has been on Texas to see if our legislators had the courage of their convictions to act and pass SB 6.
Call Speaker Straus today at (512) 463-1000, and tell him to let the Texas House vote on SB 6, the Women’s Privacy Act, “NO Men in Women’s Bathrooms!”
Texas can lead the way nationwide to push back the godless, evil homosexual political movement which wants to force you, churches, schools, businesses and civil government to accept, affirm and celebrate those who promote and practice sexually deviant actions and who want to teach these wicked activities to children in the schools, starting in Kindergarten.
The pro-homosexual school agenda has already been created and is coming to the schools in your district. The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) has plans to introduce your children to the homosexual and so-called “transgender” lifestyle. A national pro-homosexual (LGBT) advocacy organization, Human Rights Campaign, drafted Welcoming Schools as a means of getting sexually and politically sensitive and controversial material into the nation’s classrooms, https://crtxnews.com/homosexual-curriculum-texas-public-schools/.
Speaker Joe Straus opposes Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and the conservative thrust of his legislative agenda. Straus wants Patrick to fail and has been blocking SB 6 from being voted upon in the Texas House since it was overwhelmingly passed by the Texas Senate on March 14 by a 21-14 margin.
We at CRTX News have called and emailed over 2,000,000 Republican Primary Voters, encouraging them to contact their representatives in the Texas House, telling the representatives to tell Straus to let the Texas House vote on SB 6. The Texas Legislators have received over 100,000 calls from their constituents regarding SB 6. It would pass the House overwhelmingly if Straus would allow it to be voted upon. We have run television ads, bombarded social media, and Dr. Hotze and I have personally contacted numerous legislators in an effort to get the Texas House to act on SB 6.
Last week a watered-down version of SB 6 was referred to the State Affairs Committee. The watered-down bill is CSHB 2899 by Ron Simmons. There was a hearing on it last Wednesday, April 19 in the State Affairs Committee. Although it is very weak compared to SB 6, CSHB 2899 has formally brought the issue of men in women’s bathrooms to the Texas House.
Gov. Greg Abbott recently announced that he will work with both the House and Senate to ensure a bill protecting privacy in bathrooms makes it to his desk.
It is highly unlikely that Speaker Straus and his leadership team will allow the House to vote on this this issue unless they feel the heat from conservatives and Christians calling upon them to let the Texas House vote on SB 6. Straus has a vendetta against Lt. Gov. Patrick and does not want any of his legislation passed.
There is no need for this new bill, CSHB 2899, to be introduced. We already have SB 6, “No Men in Women’s Bathrooms!” All the House has to do is pass SB 6 without any amendments and it would go straight to Governor’s Abbott’s desk for his signature.
I don’t get it. What is so controversial about passing legislation so that there will be “No Men in Women’s Bathrooms!”?
If the Republican state representatives don’t have the courage to protect the privacy and safety of women and girls, then we need to remove these yellow bellies from office and replace them with stouthearted men who will fight for a Biblical world view in civil government.
It is time for Christians to rise up and oppose, ostracize, and penalize those wicked individuals who practice and promote deviant sexual activities. Homosexuality and other sins of sexual immorality, including pornography, violate God’s moral laws and must be outlawed and recognized for the deviant, perverted, wicked, criminal actions they are.
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.” – Mark 7:21-23
“Just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.” – Jude 1:7
