“He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.” (Proverbs 17:15)
This verse makes it clear what God thinks about individuals who justify the actions of those who practice wickedness and condemn those who practice righteousness. He considers them an abomination, anathema, disgraceful, outrageous, an atrocity.
What does it mean to justify?
It means to declare that someone or someone’s actions are morally right, good and cleared from guilt.
What does it mean to condemn? It means to denounce, revile, chastise, and rebuke and blame.
What is wicked? That which is evil, sinful, immoral, wrongful, iniquitous, corrupt, base, and vile.
What is righteous? That which is morally right and virtuous.
Let’s evaluate the leadership in the Texas House. Look at Speaker Joe Straus, Rep. Byron Cook, Straus’ puppeteer, their lieutenants and their Democrat allies. Do they justify those individuals or elected officials who support killing unborn babies, and promote using state tax dollars to fund Planned Parenthood? Do they support the agenda of the homofascist political movement that wants to use the power of the law to force you, churches, schools, businesses and civil government to accept, affirm, and celebrate those who promote and participate in sodomy and other perverted, sexually deviant activities? Do they support the pro-homofascist school curriculum, Welcoming Schools, which starts in Kindergarten, teaching children that they can decide what gender they want to be? Do they refuse to support American Law for American Courts (ALAC) and oppose Sharia law? Do they condemn and revile those of us who want to protect unborn babies, who hold to Biblical truth, who oppose the promotion of homosexual activity, same sex “mirage” and moral anarchy, and who view the tenets of Islam as being the basis of a political movement intent on destroying Christianity and Constitutional law and liberties in America?
A legislator cannot be neutral. The sin of omission is just as wrong as the sin of commission. A legislator may not publicly support an evil act, but will not oppose. This legislator is just as guilty for not fighting this evil act. Not doing what you should do is a sign of a sluggard.
Whom do Straus, Cook, their lieutenants and the Dems hold in high esteem and praise? Whom do they denounce as bigots, haters, homophobes and Islamaphobes? It’s Christians like you who believe that God’s Word is true and that it must be obeyed, and God’s law are the basis of all moral laws in America.
God has established His standards in the Bible to instruct us on right moral behavior, what’s right and what’s wrong. That cannot be changed. Rulers and lost men hate God’s established laws, standards and rules, and wage war against God and against his Anointed.
“Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain thing?
The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together
against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us tear their fetters apart
and cast away their cords from us!’
He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them.
Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying,
‘But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.’” (Psalm 2:1-6)
If we serve the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ, then let’s proudly, boldly, and courageously advance His cause in the realm of civil government and in all of life.
