Emergency Alert Will Rep. Tan Parker, House Republican Caucus Chairman, Demonstrate Courage and Challenge Speaker Joe Straus to Let the House Vote on Conservative Legislation?

The chairman of the Republican Caucus in the Texas House, Rep. Tan Parker, has remained conspicuously silent as Speaker Joe Straus has worked to kill conservative legislation consistent with the Republican Party of Texas Platform.
As Caucus Chairman, he should be fighting for our platform. Unfortunately, State Rep. Tan Parker of Flower Mound has not raised a public complaint to Speaker Straus, his lieutenants, and the Democrat coalition running the House, as they have killed one piece of conservative legislation after another.
It is time for you and other grassroots activists of the Republican Party to stand up and fight for our 2016 Republican Party of Texas (RPT) Platform. Like RPT Chairman Tom Mechler, Parker has been silent, while not a single priority of the Republican Party of Texas Platform has received a vote on the floor of the Texas House. Conversely, liberal Democrat legislation, like raising the minimum wage, abortion rights and pro-homosexual legislation, have been placed at the front of the line. This is outrageous considering Republicans occupy 95 of 150 seats in the Texas House.
Call Rep. Parker today at 512-463-0688 and encourage him to challenge Straus for blocking conservative legislation.
Contrast the Texas House to what has happened in the Texas Senate during the same period. Conservatives in the Texas Senate, under the courageous leadership of Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, have been getting the job done. They have passed numerous pieces of conservative legislation consistent with the RPT Platform: school choice, ending sanctuary cities, a budget that protects the Rainy Day Fund, and legislation that keeps perverted men, who fantasize that they are women, from entering women’s bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms, and much more.
As Michael Quinn Sullivan of Empower Texans recently asked, “So why is Tan Parker sitting silently by while House Speaker Joe Straus caters to the Democrats and threatens conservative reforms? Why is Tan Parker refusing to sign on to public letters demanding that the House consider Senate Bill 6 (SB 6), the Women’s Privacy Act, which protects businesses from dictatorial restroom edicts from left-wing activist city councils? Why isn’t Tan Parker every day demanding that the House vote on strict spending limits, like the Senate passed weeks ago (SB9)? Or genuine ethics reform to shine a greater light on self-dealing by public officials (SB14)? Why isn’t Tan Parker demanding that Speaker Straus get a strong ban on sanctuary cities (SB4) to the House floor for a vote?”
Furthermore, why haven’t Parker and the Republican House Caucus challenged Straus to allow the Texas House to consider religious liberty and free speech legislation that would protect Christians, and other people of faith, who oppose the killing of the unborn, also the use of law to force the acceptance, affirmation and celebration of those who participate in sexually deviant activities, and the Islamic advancement of Sharia Law? Why haven’t they been advancing legislation that prevents the Human Equality’s pro-homosexual curriculum, Welcoming Schools, from being taught in Texas public schools? What about legislation that upholds American Law for American Courts (ALAC) that prohibits the Access Islam curriculum, promoted by the treacherous Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), from being taught in our public schools, https://crtxnews.com/dump-access-islam-public-schools/?
These are issues that affect the moral fabric of our society. We must fight for our Christian rights and Biblical values.
“Like a muddied spring and a polluted well, is a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.” (Proverbs 25:26)
ACTION ITEM: Please call the Chairman of the Texas House Republican Caucus, Tan Parker, and ask him to challenge Speaker Joe Straus. Call Parker today at 512-463-0688 and ask him why he is not standing for our conservative values as outlined in our 2016 Republican Party of Texas Platform. Ask him why he will not support SB 6 that prohibits men, who fantasize that they are women, including registered sex offenders, from entering women’s and girls’ bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms. Doesn’t Parker believe that women’s and girls’ privacy and safety should be protected? Ask him to demand that SB 6 and other conservative legislation be voted upon by the entire House. Please call Tan Parker’s office today at 512-463-0688 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
After you call, please send me an email at email@example.com and let me know his response. Thank you for fighting the good fight!
All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing.
“Through God we shall do valiantly, and it is He who will tread down our adversaries.” (Psalm 108:13)
