If anyone wants to tell me there is no war against Christians in America…I can put on a face on it.
I find it unconscionable that the radical progressive socialist gay agenda deems Christians more of an enemy than Islamic jihadists.
As reported by GOPUSA.com, “The megadonor bankrolling the LGBT movement and its allies in the Democratic Party says he will continue to “punish the wicked” who hold traditional views about sexual morality. Despite the legalization of gay marriage in all 50 states, tech millionaire Tim Gill said he is not satisfied with the movement’s progress. He plans to use his immense wealth, corporate influence and political network to target red states with laws protecting religious people who disagree with the LGBT movement’s worldview.
“We’re going into the hardest states in the country,” Mr. Gill said, according to an interview published by Rolling Stone June 23. “We’re going to punish the wicked.” Mr. Gill said his effort to block religious-freedom bills in Southern states has already paid off. Last year, the Gill Foundation rallied more than 100 corporations, including Coca-Cola, Google and Marriott, behind a front group called Georgia Prospers. Threatening to pull business out of the state, the coalition successfully lobbied Republican Gov. Nathan Deal into vetoing a Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
“You can get money from outside, but the state has to own it,” Mr. Gill said of the strategy. Mr. Gill is a software programmer who made his fortune during the dot-com boom and has since poured more than $400 million into advancing the LGBT movement. The Rolling Stone article recounts a May 2016 meeting in Manhattan attended by Mr. Gill, other prominent gay-rights donors and then-Vice President Joseph Biden. At the time, Mr. Gill said he was focused on defeating then-North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory, a Republican, in his reelection bid. Mr. McCrory had signed a state law regulating public restrooms, locker rooms and other intimate facilities on the basis of biological sex. Opponents of the legislation said it discriminated against transgender people. The strategy in North Carolina mirrored the one employed in Georgia. Companies ranging from Paypal to the National Basketball Association pulled commerce out of the state to pressure lawmakers into repealing the bathroom bill.”
First of all, let me explain something to this chucklehead. The very first individual right in our Constitution is freedom of religion. That is a Constitutional right. Second, I think we need to realize something very simple, the Supreme Court does not make law. It is also unconstitutional that the Supreme Court can believe it can create a right — the “right to marriage” — and then order and create a law supporting the decision of five unelected jurists…two of whom should have recused themselves from the Obergfell v Hodges case in the first place. If there was ever an example of judicial activism, this was it.
And, same-sex marriage is not the “law of the land” until it is a bill brought forth and passed by the House and Senate, then signed INTO LAW by the president. Anyone who’s taken Civics 101 can grasp what I’ve just stated. Please, show me in Article III where the Supreme Court has an enumerated power to create law?
Mr. Gill obviously believes he can leverage companies to enact his radical agenda. It’s time the American Christian community shows these companies the marketing power we possess. Also, I just have to ask, why doesn’t this coward go after companies who do business with countries that sentence gays and lesbians to death?
And who is he to believe that just because he has millions of dollars he can dictate and influence who uses what bathrooms in sovereign states? Mr. Gill is no different than another delusional fella with too much money, Michael Bloomberg, and his “Everytown” movement that seeks to undermine another individual right, the Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms.
Just think about this: we hear the liberal progressive media decry all the right wing money involved in influencing politics. Why is it that we don’t hear the left talk about the billions from men such as George Soros, Tom Steyer, Jeff Bezos, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, and Tim Gill. You want to know who the folks are behind every single radical progressive socialist movement in America, I just gave you six names. And you can clearly see in Mr. Gill’s assertion that he intends to “punish the wicked.”
So, here we are America, being a Christian is now “wicked.” I want all of the pastors in America, white, black, Hispanic, to now know, you’re not just deplorable, but you’re also wicked. This is the continuation of the former openly lesbian mayor of Houston, Annalise Parker, who demanded the sermons from pastors who spoke out against the implementation of certain policies in favor of an LGBT agenda.
So, if Christians are wicked, according to Gill, how soon will it be that Christianity will be outlawed in America? If Gill is successful, as he was in Georgia with threatening economic sanctions, what happens in America? I mean we have the BDS (Boycott, Divest, and Sanctions) movement being levied against Israel…now the same here in America against Christians. This is nothing more than economic blackmail, and what is interesting is these sick people don’t even attempt to hide it.
Well, it’s time to just say no. And we need governors and other leaders who won’t be intimidated, coerced or threatened by people like Tim Gill and his wealthy liberal progressive ilk. To the Body of Christ, we can just stop drinking Coca Cola, stop using the Marriott, just stay wherever, or even open up our own hotels.
Let’s seek out Christians who can start their own companies like Hobby Lobby. It’s time we let the world know, we will neither sit back idly and be slaughtered by the Islamic jihadists, nor threatened by the progressive socialists and radicals. Having moral standards because of one’s faith is now deemed “wicked?” To believe that marriage is between one man and one woman but supportive of civil unions is cause for derision and attack?
Holding to a belief that a person should be using the bathroom or shower facility that corresponds to their gender at birth is abhorrent? What country are we living in? And if Tim Gill truly believes he can defeat our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ because he has millions of dollars, boy howdy dude, you are in for a really bad wake-up call. Your arms are too short to box with God! And truth be told, you’ve pissed me and a whole lot of American Christians off with your “punish the wicked” statement.
Mr. Gill, I will pray for you, but just know this, we ain’t turning the other cheek, and we will fight you. Just a kind word of advice, don’t bring your mess into Texas, as I am angered that you were successful in my birth state of Georgia. I’m on the right side of the line sir…perhaps you should study Texas history in order to know of which I speak. Folks, do not forget the name Tim Gill.
